On Thursday, June 4th, 2009, the eco-fabulous boutique, Kaight, partnered with Entertainment Sixty 6 to present the three-hour cmarchuska spring/summer ’09 collection trunk show.  Attendees spent their time mingling with other guests, sipping cocktails and wine courtesy of Cuca Fresca and Gotham Wines & Liquors and checking out the spring/summer cmarchuska line featuring an array of brightly colored scarves, dresses and tees.

Notable guests at the trunk show included: Richard Temtchine from Quadrant Entertainment; Eva Anastasia from ecofashionworld.com; and Riva Richmond from the Wall Street Journal. Many of Christine’s friends from her networks in both the financial realm and the fashion industry came to support her trunk show. Overall, it was a successful event and as guests left with their organic gifts in hand, one could not help but notice their smiles exuding their warm and fuzzy “eco-luxe” feelings.

Christine Marchuska started her own eco-friendly fashion line; cmarchuska within months after she left her six-year career in the financial industry. A young entrepreneur at heart, Christine proceeded to launch the cmarchuska line in November 2008, combining her love for fashion and the environment. To date, Christine has brought her cmarchuska line to the forefront of eco-fashion and has received notable press from Entrepreneur Magazine, Newsweek.com, Stylelist.com, StyleCaster.com, EcoSalon.com, Ithaca Times, Huffington Post, Japanese Marie Claire as well as many other eco-fashion/green blogs and publications.

The cmarchuska line offers affordable stylish and chic pieces made with care in New York City’s Garment District. Many of the cmarchuska pieces are named after her family and friends that are a source of inspiration for this budding designer. cmarchuska dresses and tees have been spotted on celeb blogger, Tia Walker, MTV Brooklyn real World star Baya Voce, and NYC socialite Emma Snowdon-Jones.
