Cocktails to Benefit the Touch Foundation's work in Tanzania

The Touch Foundation is a nonprofit, secular public charity dedicated to addressing the global healthcare crisis by working with developing countries to train doctors, nurses, and other human resources for health (HRH) who are committed to serving their local communities. We are currently focusing our efforts in Tanzania, a stable, democratic nation experiencing one of the worst healthcare crises in the world.

We have engaged a group of committed young leaders to help us raise awareness of our work and build support among New York City's young professionals. The Touch staff hosts round-table meetings for the core committee members to discuss our programs and plan events. With our support, the committee hosted a kick-off fundraising event on September 26th at Marquee, a popular NYC nightclub. The event was a tremendous success, drawing over 450 guests for an evening of cocktails and conversations. The committee's next event will be a cocktail gathering on March 26th at the exclusive Tenjune, located in NYC's Meatpacking district.
