Lenox Hill Neighborhood House’s 8th annual Kids in Playland benefit, a festive party for children and adults, will take place on the children’s playroof of Lenox Hill Neighborhood House (331 East 70th Street) on Monday, May 18, 2009 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Last year, close to $90,000 was raised to help children’s programs at the Neighborhood House, the oldest and largest educational and social services organization on the Upper East Side. A stilt walker, Penny England, will welcome guests to the Neighborhood House. Magic Al and Brett Rothenhaus & his Brett Band for Kids will entertain as mothers and children enjoy a carnival of games of chance. Face painting and hair beading will tantalize the youngsters. Hot dogs, chicken fingers, cotton candy, and animal crackers will be enjoyed by all.
