The National Women’s Division of Albert Einstein College of Medicine honored longstanding supporter Christie Brinkley at their 20th Annual Family Day Wild, Wild West Carnival at The Ross School in Bridgehampton. Presented by Marquis Jet, the family friendly carnival raised over $350,000 to benefit an extraordinary new clinical research program at Einstein’s Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) that provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment services for children with serious developmental disorders such as autism, language and learning disorders, and hearing impairments.
National Women’s Division President Jackie Harris Hochberg and Co-Chairs Mindy Feinberg, Tasha Genatt, Erica Karsch, Roxanne Palin and Cathy Schwartz welcomed over 1,200 guests to the afternoon festival, including Elie Tahari, Judith Ripka, Daryl Roth, Randi Michel, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Renée and Bob Belfer, Robin Katz, Andrea Stark, Stacey and Cobey Bronfman, Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch, Jason and Haley Binn, Janna Bullock, Dr. Howard Sobel, Sal Strazzullo and Jodie Fanelli, Digital Dollhouses’s David Schnepp and Elynn DeMattia, Marquis Jet’s Kenny and Shoshana Dichter, Jason Rogers, Tim Morehouse, and their families.
Family Day kicked off with the presentation of the first Spirit of Family Award to Christie Brinkley, who accepted with a gracious speech highlighting the important work done at CERC and at Einstein College of Medicine. Adults and children alike then took part in a wide array of novel activities, including decorating a Campion Platt-designed Digital Dollhouse, sampling NYC’s famous Eleni’s Cookies and Cupcakes, making personalized Havaiana sandals, riding the giant slide, getting makeovers at the Cozy’s Cuts for Kids station, partaking in watermelon eating contests and so much more! A diverse silent auction kept moms and dads busy, bidding on everything from Christian Dior sunglasses and cosmetic services from Dr. Howard Sobel to Yankees tickets, golf afternoon outings, a Judith Ripka ring and a Disney vacation.
