Wanda Murphy Celebrates the Opening of Summer Uplifts Benefiting the Humane Society of New York

On Saturday, August 11th, artist Wanda Murphy celebrated the opening of her art exhibition “Summer Uplifts” at the Bego Ezair Gallery in Southampton and toasted the Humane Society of New York. Host committee members Wendy Diamond, Jonathan Goldberg, Leesa Rowland, Robin Cofer, Michele Gerber Klein, Harriette Rose Katz, Joe Alexander and Liz Derringer took in Murphy’s critically acclaimed work over champagne and live music by the James Turner Band. Art and animal lovers mixed and mingled for a good cause, a portion of the proceeds from all of the work sold at the event benefitted the HSNY, which has aided animals in need for over 100 years.
