One of my favorite events of the year is always the Apollo Circle Benefit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and last night was no exception. Held in the Temple of Dendur with it's pools of water and ancient Egyptian artifacts, it had a majestic, magical feel; the Surrealism theme of this year's party with waiters donning funny little Dali mustaches made it feel all that much more like a trip down the subconscious rabbit hole. Carolina Herrera generously sponsors the benefit and there were handfuls of pretty, fashionable girls dressed in her special gowns scattered throughout the venue, creating even more eye candy.
