It was a beautiful day in New York with temperatures reaching up into the 70s and the pear trees beginning to bloom wherever there was a good block of Sun to warm the buds. Late in the evening there was a very light rain that came in on a warm breeze. This was the first day of Spring for many New Yorkers. The first of the pears in bloom, northwest corner of 68th Street and Park Avenue. 7:15 pm. A patch of daffodils outside 655 Park Avenue at 67th Street. The glorious Park Avenue Armory with Will Ryman's Roses just outside its windows. A rose is a rose is a rose. With a bee on top. The next two or three weeks are loaded with art and philanthropic events, galas, etc. Tonight...(read more)
