As the host of a column at Forbes entitled ?Rethink?, it was disconcerting to read in the New York Times today that thinking is pass. In an article entitled The Elusive Big Idea, Neal Gabler, senior fellow at the Annenberg Norman Lear Center at the University of Southern California, writes not only that ?we live in a society that no longer thinks big.? In fact, we live in a post-idea society where people don?t think at all.
