Last night in London, the British Fashion Awards honored the U.K.'s best designers and dressers for their work making or wearing clothes over the past year. And the best of the best, from Stella McCartney to Daphne Guinness, attended the event wearing the sorts of fabulous apparel and shoes you don't get to see at the safe events honoring film and television, where everyone (with few exceptions, like Blake Lively) is so scared of ending up on worst-dressed lists that they don't even bother trying to be fashionable.
