A few short weeks ago, some were bemoaning the lack of Whole Foods stores in organic-oriented Brooklyn. Now, it looks like there will be two.A 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods store is planned for Bedford Avenue in North Williamsburg, with a projected opening in mid-2014, the company confirmed in a statement on Wednesday.The company recently obtained city approval to build a store in Gowanus, not far from the Gowanus Canal Superfund site. The grocery is slated to open in mid-2013.
