Central Park shoot. 5:00 PM. Photo: JH. Thursday, April 5, 2012. An absolutely gorgeous Spring day in New York. The kind of day where youre just happy to be out and in it. On my way home from the Michaels lunch, I took this picture of the flowers for sale in front of a deli on Sixth Avenue and 56th Street, because they best described what the day felt like in mid-afternoon. Traffic in midtown was very heavy also; much more than usual. And so was foot traffic along the avenue. Over at Abercrombie Fitch, that annoying purveyor of libido-elevating costumes on 56th and Fifth, there was a line three and four deep stretched around the corner, waiting to get in and hand over their money.
