First Lady of the small screen Betty White yesterday "popped in" for an unscheduled visit with President Barack Obama while in DC for a speaking engagement at the Smithsonian. The nonagenarian recently made her fondness for Obama known when she tweeted that she "very, very much favors" him in the upcoming election. Endorsing a candidate was an unusual move for White, who has long kept her political views to herself.
