The Gotye song, "Somebody That I Used To Know," is still near the top of Billboard's Hot 100 chart (currently #3) and his album, "Making Mirrors," has shot up to number two on their Alternative Album chart. "Somebody's" enduring popularity is deserved, I think, but also a source of irritation for many. Such irritation, like sand in an oyster, can produce pearls of comedy. It has produced a lot of crap. I first came across an amusing "Star Wars" parody of the song and thought about doing a post, but it was really the video above, posted on Gawker this morning and Facebooked by a friend, that got my attention....(read more)
