A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Rush Philanthropic fulfills its mission through three primary programs: the Rush Community Grants Program, giving direct funding to non-profit organizations who provide arts and education programming to New York City youth; Rush Arts Gallery and Resource Center, an exhibition space in New York’s Chelsea arts district and home of Rush Kids, a visual arts mentorship program for neighborhood children; and the Rush Impact Mentorship Initiative, a signature program through which the Foundation’s leadership reaches out to urban youth to offer personal testimony to the transformative power of creative expression. This program invites teens to go behind-the-scenes at Phat Farm to meet the staff for in-depth Q&A sessions, and takes us out to schools, community centers, and youth programs to meet young people in their communities.
