ABOUT: Fame Game has spent a lot of time perfecting our analytic engine to find those individuals who are most successful in playing the game of fame. Fame Game’s weekly MOVERS and SHAKERS is an attempt to publicize weekly updates on the top 3,000 “movers” and “shakers” in the Fame Game community in New York. All of our rankings are based off of our proprietary algorithm ANDY. ANDY analyzes, in real-time, criteria such as media and press mentions, event photography, user-generated content, and other offline and online data sources to find the most prominent, influential, talked about people across the culture industries in NYC. MOVERS and SHAKERS only highlights weekly changes in percentage rank, while our overall rankings look at the top performers in each category. Note: We have decided only to publish a small “Top Tier” list in each category on our rankings page. Fame Game does not currently give free access to data other than through our weekly MOVERS AND SHAKERS and rankings page. Please contact us to learn more about paid access to our data, analytics, and custom reports. In the meantime, we may decide to give you more information as the weeks go on – make sure to check back for updates and additions to this feature.
The ARTS category encompasses press-worthy individuals on Fame Game that are members of the Art community in NYC – artists, interior designers, curators, gallery owners, graphic designers, and the like.
The ENTERTAINMENT category encompasses press-worthy individuals on Fame Game that are members of the Entertainment community in NYC – film actors, TV actors, reality TV stars, musicians, DJs/VJs, and talk show hosts.
The SOCIETY & PHILANTHROPY category encompasses press-worthy individuals on Fame Game that are members of the social and philanthropy scene in NYC – socialites, charity event attendees, benefactors, and key personnel at non-profit organizations.
The MEDIA & DIGITAL category encompasses press-worthy individuals on Fame Game that are members of the media and/or digital scene in NYC. Media includes editors of major publications, columnists, journalists, authors, media photographers, and reporters. Digital relates to photography and includes both photographers and professional models.
The FASHION category encompasses press-worthy individuals on Fame Game that are members of the fashion community in NYC, including fashion designers, fashion critics, key personnel at fashion companies, and fashion trendsetters.
The BUSINESS category encompasses press-worthy individuals on Fame Game that have careers or are involved, broadly, in “business” – finance, politics, investing, real estate, medicine, etc.
