The wines of Montagne Saint-Emilion offer a ruby-red colour. Their bouquet is generous and frank and presents clean aromas of red fruit and, when the wines are matured in barrels, we can perceive hints of wood, vanilla, coconut and spices. These elegant wines present a harmonious balance between alcohol, fruit, acidity and wood taste. On the palate, they are both chewy (giving a great sense of volume) and smooth: these are well-rounded wines with gentle, pleasant tannins. They are full of charm and easy to drink, and with time they develop subtle flavours and aromas that evoke walks in the wood in autumn, leather, incense... and so on….These shared qualities do not mean that each wine does not have its own personality. The appellation offers wine-lovers an extremely varied palette of wine to discover.
