From The National Arts Club was founded by Charles de Kay in 1898 to stimulate and promote "public interest in the arts and educate American people in the arts." The club is based out of the Tilden Mansion in Gramercy Park. The NAC offers scholarships to young artists and hosts a number of events every year.
