For the ninth year, Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation is proud to present ART FOR LIFE East Hampton, its annual benefit event celebrating the creative energy of New York City youth. This benefit is one of Rush Philanthropic's most important annual fundraising efforts, attended annually by a sold-out audience of more than 750 leaders in the entertainment, arts, business, and philanthropic communities.
ART FOR LIFE EAST HAMPTON HISTORY
ART FOR LIFE is Rush Philanthropic%u2019s primary outreach to friends and supporters. Through this event, we are able to serve thousands of children by helping them acquire the skills needed to build a successful life. After eight sold out successful years, we are poised to make our ninth year even more exciting. The evening will honor exemplary individuals for success in their respective fields and good works to better the community. Past honorees include Forest Whitaker, Judith Jamison, Karen Brooks Hopkins and Joseph V. Melillo of Brooklyn Academy of Music, Inc., Tracy Maitland of Advent Capital Management, David Rosenberg of Unifund, Alicia Keys, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, Donna Karan, Raymond McGuire, John Demsey of MAC Cosmetics, Tom Schutte of Pratt Institute, Ross Bleckner, Ben Cohen of Ben & Jerry%u2019s, Sherry B.
