PENCIL builds and supports customized relationships between business leaders and principals to inspire innovation and transform public schools. By bringing together the best ideas, resources and talent across sectors, we develop strong leaders, build school capacity, enhance student learning, and inspire greater community and corporate support, to create real change in our City%u2019s schools.

How We Make A Difference
-We connect leaders. We connect committed and creative business leaders with knowledgeable and pioneering principals to develop effective school-wide programs. Each business-school team is empowered to define and develop the relationship on their own terms.
-We provide comprehensive support. PENCIL provides resources and tools to businessschool teams ranging from orientations and workshops to one-on-one technical support and strategic planning assistance.
-We make giving easy. PENCIL streamlines donations to channel financial gifts and products to deserving schools and we help individuals and corporations track and monitor how their dollars are used.
