William (Bill) Kapfer is a dynamic media professional with a Ph.D. in Media Studies. He served as the Merchandising Director for both Travel + Leisure and at Harper’s Bazaar Magazines in NYC. Kapfer is currently the Vice President, Business Development for David Morris International,a cruise-based experiential travel company . Kapfer moved to NYC over six years ago from Seattle, where he served as a Director for the Seattle International Film Festival. He began his media career as a publicist for Miramax films, in the newsroom at the MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, and in Hollywood as a casting director—working on many great projects, including: "Boys on the Side", directed by his close friend, the late Herb Ross—starring Whoopi Goldberg, Mary-Louise Parker and Drew Barrymore & Jerry Maguire, starring Tom Cruise & Cuba Gooding Jr., and "That Thing You Do" directed by Tom Hanks.
