Drew Carlton De Risi (born on January 3rd, 1975) is an American entrepreneur who co-founded TransMedia, in September 2001, which recently was awarded 2008-2009 winner - 100 most influential technology companies by EContent Magazine. TransMedia is better known for it's flagship product Glide OS, an internet based "Cloud Computing" solution for consumers, businesses and schools that provides a complete mobile desktop environment. He recently formed Glide Health Corporation and Glide Education Corpation to specifically address opportunities in both the Health and Education industries.
He is also the founder and managing partner of iNTAWiRE, Inc., a high-technology consulting firm, as well as a partner and investor in Sagamore Residential, a real estate company focusing on acquisition and ownership of multi-family assets.
Drew received a Bachelor of Science from Hobart College. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Dwight De Risi, a prominent Surgical Oncologist in NY. Drew grew up on the North Shore of Long Island in Locust Valley, NY. He currently and has resided in New York City for the past 10 Years.
