Born and raised in New York City, Nicole runs BrooklynTheBorough.com, a cultural news hub for Brooklynites. 

Brooklyn The Borough melds the sensibilities of literary print journalism with the digital platform, covering Brooklyn’s subterranean cultural movements in fashion, music and art as well as the borough’s political and sociological landscapes from the perspective of a native.

Nicole has also written for the New York Observer, New York Press, BlackBook and Playgirl. Prior to becoming a journalist, Nicole worked for the New York State Senate, United States Congress and Fun City Tattoos.
