Lwala's goal is to connect people with tangible solutions for epic problems. Our current focus, AIDS, has brought to us Lwala, Kenya where the efforts of this organization have helped the Lwala Community Alliance build a health clinic in a remote village suffering from high rates of HIV/AIDS and other diseases.
$5 dollars funds 3 individuals to get tested AND receive lifelong treatment from the Kenyan government, helping parents live to raise their children.
In 2006, 4 young women set out to make a difference in the fight aginst HIV/AIDS in the village of Lwala, Kenya and on April 2, 2007 they helped Milton and Fred Ochieng and the Lwala Community Alliance open Lwala's first health clinic.
