In September of 2006 Fame Theory threw a party mimicking a fashion industry party in NYC, only instead of handing out luxury consumer gift bags, we gave out small boxes filled with shredded cash, matches, an essay on the entertainment economy, and an invitation to go see the Dada exhibit at the MoMA.
At the center of the party was a fashion shoot conducted by Justin Tellian, providing entertainment to the crowd. The party culminated in a pillow fight, during which raucous party goers hurled pillows covered in playful messages at one another.
